Celebrating 15 Years of Just Kids Skill Camps
More than 15,000 kids later, we’re proud to celebrate 15 years of camps kids love and skills that last.
15 Years of Camps Kids Love
Fifteen years ago, Just Kids Skill Camps began with one simple goal: create a summer camp experience where kids could have fun, build confidence, stay active, and learn skills that last far beyond the field or court.
What started as a small idea has grown into something truly special. Today, more than 15,000 kids later, we’re proud to celebrate our 15th anniversary season — and even more grateful for the families who have made this journey possible.
Why Jordan Started the Camps
As a former Oregon Duck , NFL player, and lifelong athlete, Jordan Kent experienced firsthand how sports can shape confidence, discipline, friendships, and character.
But he also saw that many youth sports environments could feel too intense, too exclusive, or too focused on winning.
Jordan believed kids deserved something different — a place where every child could feel welcomed, encouraged, and excited to participate, whether they were trying a sport for the first time or already loved to compete.
That vision became Just Kids Skill Camps : a place where kids can grow through sports in a positive, high-energy environment built around fun, confidence, and personal development.

More Than Sports
From day one, our mission has always been about more than sports. Yes, kids build skills in basketball, football, soccer, baseball, softball, pickleball, and multi-sport camps — but the impact of camp goes far beyond drills and game play.
Confidence
Kids leave camp feeling more comfortable trying new things, taking chances, and believing in themselves.
Teamwork
Camp helps kids learn how to work together, support one another, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
Sportsmanship
We teach kids how to compete the right way — with effort, respect, and encouragement for others.
Resilience
Through movement, coaching, and practice, kids build the confidence to keep going even when something feels hard.
Leadership
Camp creates opportunities for kids to step up, try their best, and influence others in positive ways.
Belonging
Most of all, we want every child to feel welcomed, encouraged, and excited to come back the next day.
We believe camp should be something kids look forward to all year long — and something parents feel great about choosing.
From Oregon Roots to Families Nationwide
What started in Oregon has grown far beyond anything we could have imagined — while staying true to the same mission that started it all.
Over the last 15 years, Just Kids Skill Camps has expanded from local Oregon camps to serving families in communities across the country.
No matter the location, the heart of camp stays the same: fun, confidence, movement, skill-building, and positive coaching.
That growth has only been possible because families kept showing up, coming back, and sharing camp with others.

Thank You to Families
We wouldn’t be here without the families who have trusted us year after year.
Some campers who joined us in the early years are now teenagers, college students, and adults. Many younger siblings have followed in their footsteps. Countless families have returned summer after summer.
And now, some of those same campers are becoming coaches, mentors, and leaders for the next generation. Others are continuing their athletic journeys and competing at the college level.
That kind of full-circle impact means everything to us.
Thank you for letting us be part of your summers, your family memories, and your child’s growth.
The Best Is Still Ahead
As we celebrate 15 years, we’re more excited than ever for what’s ahead.
More camp locations. More sports. More smiles. More confidence built one camper at a time.
And while a lot has changed over the years, one thing remains the same: our commitment to creating camps kids love and skills that last.
